I was treated by one of your orthopedic surgeons and I have a post-surgery problem, what should I do?

Please have a look at our "Guides" section where you will find a multitude of useful documents related to your surgery. If this is an urgent problem and you are outside business hours, you can contact 811 or go to the emergency room of your local hospital. If it is not an urgent problem, please mention it to your doctor at your next follow-up appointment. During business hours, for urgent problems, you can call the first responder in orthopedics at the Saint-Jérôme Hospital at 450-432-2777.

I'm waiting to undergo surgery. When will I get the date of my operation?

At the moment, considering the many issues related to the pandemic, wait times for surgery are unfortunately longer than usual. Please note that requests are processed mainly in chronological order. Rest assured that you will be contacted when it your turn comes. If you wish to have more information, you can contact the Surgical Priority Management of the Saint-Jérôme Hospital at 450-432-2777 ext. 22725 for surgeries scheduled in St-Jérôme. For surgeries scheduled at the Lachute or Mont-Laurier Hospitals, please contact the designated persons in charge of managing operating priorities at these centers.

My doctor asked for an X-ray. Can this be done at your clinic? What are the associated costs?

The Radiologix radiology laboratory is located in the same building and is easily accessible. The cost of single radiography is covered by the RAMQ. You can visit the Radiologix website here: https://radiologix.ca/cliniques/st-jerome-ouvert

I have to cancel my appointment. Is there a cancellation fee?

You must contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment. For any last minute cancellation or missed appointment, a $30 fee will be charged when you reschedule your appointment.

Is there a fee for a prescription renewal?

Yes, the prescription renewal fee is $20 per prescription.

I lost my prescription. Can I get another one?

You can contact us at 450-327-2625 to request a new prescription. Please note that a fee of $20 will be charged.

My doctor prescribed a cast. Can I go to your clinic?

You must have a cast prescription from a doctor in hand. Only then you can come to the casting room without an appointment. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Can I leave a message for my doctor?

You cannot contact your doctor directly. At your appointment, make sure you have all the questions you want to ask your doctor.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Your valid medicare card, your doctor's request and the reports/CD, if applicable.

What are your business hours?

The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm.

What are the business hours of your phone lines?

You can call us from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that we receive a high volume of calls; pleade wait on the line and an operator will answer you as soon as possible.

COVID-19: Do I have to wear a mask when I come to the clinic?

Yes, mask wearing and social distancing instructions must be followed at all times in the clinic.

COVID-19: Can I be accompanied for my appointment?

Persons with very limited mobility and minors are only allowed to be accompanied.
